Hey guys!
After a busy time of studying for exams, spending my first week of the Christmas holidays in London, and celebrating NYE in my beloved Antwerp with le boyfriend, I am totally back! Now since the new year just begun, I’d like to start with some resolutions. I know I know, a bit cliché, but I think that every once in a while we need to be a little cliché, especially during the Christmas and New Year period. So, let’s not ramble too much before this becomes one of my nonsense blog posts again where I spend 100 words saying nothing but
1. Blog more, less brainless surfing.
I
know that I have been neglecting you guys the last couple of months, and I’m
going to try hard never to let that happen again! The blog posts are going to
come back I promise! From now, I will try to keep blogging regularly and make
sure that there won’t be any silent weeks (or
months) again.
2. Style it up.
2013
will be the year where I try to launch
my styling career, I already have some interesting projects ahead, on which I
will inform you guys in one of my next blog posts, but I am also looking always
happy to accept new styling jobs (hint
hint) So if you, or someone you know is looking for a young look on
fashion/styling, do not hesitate to contact me!
3. Throw it on and pull the trigger
During
the summer holidays I have had a period where I was very into LOOKBOOK, and I
must say (and I think that I do have the right to say this) that I had quite a
success for a lookbook newbie… So my plan for 2013 is to get into lookbooking
again and make that success bigger, want to help me with that? New lookbook
fans are always welcome over here!
4. Network like a baws
I
have had quite an amount of invitations over the last year, and I am quite
ashamed to say that I have declined a lot of those because I had work for
school, or just other things to do. And that’s a pity, because I hate to see
other bloggers write about things and not being able to inform my readers too,
just because I didn’t worked hard enough to accept the invitation and just go.
So in 2013, Melvin will be present on every event he get’s invited to, and will
be networking his butt off.
5. FIND A FRICKIN JOB THAT PAYS THE
RENT
Well
I guess that one’s clear enough, I need to find a job because those clothes
don’t pay for themselves do they?
Well,
these were my resolutions for the 2013. I hope you had fun reading it, and that
all of you are praying as hard as me, for that I will be able to keep my
promises.
Lots
of kisses to my dear readers, and not to forget, happy New Year!
